Could your spoken English be improved? Does your accent, lack of fluency or limited vocabulary get in the way of successful communication? This is a common problem for migrants/refugees, International students and visitors. It’s frustrating for both speaker and listener and has far-reaching implications affecting self-esteem and life-goals: it limits job and promotion prospects, results in misunderstandings, social discomfort or isolation. In today’s competitive world, poor English can really hold you back. This course, conducted by a qualified TESOL teacher, will enhance your verbal proficiency, reducing those barriers. Through stimulating discussion, listening, speaking and reading activities, improve pronunciation, extend vocabulary, develop social networks, expand career prospects and gain confidence in a supportive setting. Take your spoken English to the next level. Come along, cultivate new friendships and learn to truly express yourself! Fee (GST free): Individual permanent residents and Agencies enrolling clients - please contact the College office or complete page 30 of the brochure as you/your client may be eligible for a free NSW Government subsidised place. If not you will pay $120. Non-permanent residents - $150.
