The National Law and Regulations were amended in October 2017 and the National Quality Standards in February 2018 - do you and your educators know what is new? Do you and your educators want to check that you understand your legal responsibilities in day to day running of a service? This course will also cover areas in the NQS where many services don't meet the standards. Are you thinking about setting up a child care service or family day care scheme? Want to apply to be an Approved provider? Part of the approval process now involves a written test that you must pass. This workshop will cover how to find the information you need to know about your legal and regulatory requirements and provide some practice situations that you may encounter when running a service so you will know what the law says is required. Completing this course will contribute 2 hours of NESA Registered PD addressing 6.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers
towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW and complies with the Start Strong Preschool funding guidelines. No concession.

Bring pen, paper and a copy of the Education and Care Services National Law and the Education and Care Services National Regulations.
