The aim of this course is to provide employees in the food handling industry with updated knowledge and skills to implement a dietary requirement control system. The course identifies hazards and presents best practices and is conducted online with a quiz after each criteria. This program would be ideally suited to those wanting to open a coffee shop or food outlet, and is the next level in food safety. You must have access to the internet to enrol in this course. Course content:
Food allergens, food intolerances, coeliac disease, legal requirements, cross contamination risks, quarantining, adherence to standard recipes, building an allergen matrix, hidden ingredients, food codes, label reading, kitchen and front of house staff.
