This course is for those who have completed at least the Cake Decorating for Beginner's course. Create more detailed sugar flowers. Participants will learn to group sugar flowers to use as a cake topper. You will be shown how to stack, level and support a cake using the right materials. Complete this course creating cupcakes with detailed icing and creating a naked cake using buttercream. Full outline on website. Bring pen, paper and modelling paste, starter pack from beginner’s course, tea towel and apron.

Week 4: Flower making
Week 5: Colouring and shading all sugar flowers
Week 6: How to place and group sugar flowers using wires. How to assemble flowers on the cake
Week 7: Decorating detailed cupcakes using embossing and quilting techniques
Week 8: Using buttercream to create a naked cake and decorate using sugar flowers
Bring pen, paper and modelling paste, starter pack from beginner’s course, tea towel and apron.
