Learn to make basic bread, rolls, pizza dough, foccacia and tea buns in this one-day workshop. Making bread is fun but it has its rules - play with the rules and making bread is easy! Bring requirements listed on Confirmation/website. No concession.

Materials

Bring lunch, mug for tea/coffee and $3 (payable to tutor) for Gluten flour and bread improver. Bring a large bowl, gladwrap, rolling pin, scales, bread tin, wooden spoon, metal spoon, plastic spatula, metal spatula, soft bowl scraper, wire whisk, measuring spoons, measuring cup, measuring jug, pastry brush, scissors, tea towels, scourer, detergent, chux cloth.

Ingredients:
3kg plain flour,
1 packet of dry yeast,
200g milk powder,
1 litre of milk, packet each of castor sugar and icing sugar,
375g jar of jam,
100 mls olive oil,
100ml cooking oil,
150mls natural yoghurt,
100g unsalted butter,
salt, rock salt,
eggs and vanilla extract.

NOTE: A breadmaker or mixer with dough hook is not a requirement but is handy if you have one.

If going to your course via the M5 please be aware that occasional roadwork on weekends may extend your travel time. Please allow plenty of time to arrive at your course on time.
