Learn about the different types of internet connection, different browsers and email programs, what the various internet terminology means and how to set up your own internet access that gives you what you want at the best price. Using search engines effectively will make finding what you need faster, allowing you to use the internet more efficiently. You will not be using computers on the day. No concession.

* Setting up your email the right way
* Security and buying over the internet

Materials

Bring lunch, mug for tea and coffee, pen and paper.

If going to your course via the M5 please be aware that occasional roadwork on weekends may extend your travel time. Please allow plenty of time to arrive at your course on time.
