Art: The Colour Workshop

Come and explore the world of colour! In all types of Art and Design, colour plays an important role in expressing your image. Fantastic for all creative fields (Artwork, Advertising, Interior Design, Graphic/Web Design, Fashion, Floristry, Photography, etc.)…this really easy to follow workshop will take you through and break down the individual components of colour, and show you how to use it effectively. We will cover the Colour Wheel Basics, how to produce Tints, Tones and Shades, Harmonious Colour Formulas, understanding Colour Temperature and the Psychology of Colour… all cleverly used to enhance effect, intensity, mood and emotion! A practical and informative workshop with fun activities guaranteed to get your colours working! ‘The Colour Workshop’ is a great addition to the Art/Drawing workshops also run by Jo (professionally trained ‘Art and Design Guru’!!) where colour basics are first introduced. Materials

Bring lunch - (tea and coffee available)
* Lead Pencils (eg. 2B, 4B)
* Eraser
* Sharpener
* Ruler
* Scissors
* Glue Stick *Coloured Pencils (any type)
* Coloured Textas (any type)
* White Drawing Paper (A4 or A3 size any type)
* Sheets of Coloured Paper (approx. 10 sheets, A4 size - a variety of colours - your choice)
* Paint will be supplied by tutor.
* Pen & Notepad.
