Crochet - Beyond Beginners

Having already mastered the skillsof holding a hook and yarn, and introductory stitches, this course aims to build on these skills to develop the ability to read a pattern and complete a “granny square“ or some other simple piece. Methods and techniques of increasing, decreasing and joining will be taught to form a shape or object. Left-handers welcome. Bring a 4mm crochet hook or equivalent, and some yarn and a pattern or project if you desire. A kit will be available. No concession.

Agenda: stitches like multiple treble, increasing and deceasing, joining and reading patterns and terminology will be taught.



Materials

Bring a 4mm crochet hook and suitable thread. Tutor will have starter kits and yarns for purchase on the day for $10.00. (tea/coffee available)
