For those who have very basic to basic English and want to improve their understanding and conversation skills. This course, conducted by a qualified TESOL teacher, will help develop your listening and speaking skills, improve pronunciation, extend vocabulary, develop social networks, expand career prospects and gain confidence in a supportive setting. Come along, cultivate new friendships and learn to truly express yourself! You may take one or more terms to achieve a Statement of Attainment after which you will move on to an English Reading and Writing course. This course does not cater for those who don‘t speak any English. Fee (GST free): Individual permanent residents and Agencies enrolling clients - please contact the College office as you/your client may be eligible for a free NSW Government subsidised place. If not, you will pay $120. Non-permanent residents - $160. No concession.

Bring a dictionary, pen and paper every session.
Since 1/1/15 anyone undertaking accredited training must have a USI (Unique Student Identifier). The College will require you to apply for one before it can issue any Qualifications or Statements of Attainment.
Go to www.usi.gov.au and apply for one now. It will only take 5-10 minutes - you just enter your personal details with one form of ID (e.g. Driver‘s licence, Medicare card, passport, etc). Alternatively you can give the College permission to apply for one for you.
