The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course delivers the essential principles, skills and knowledge to maintain or restore breathing and circulation in an adult, child or infant. The course content is based on the policies and standards of the Australian Resuscitation Council. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment for the following unit of competency: HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation issued by Surf Life Saving NSW RTO 90394. It is recommended by the Australian Resuscitation Council that you update your CPR skills every 12 months. No concession. Note that participants must be able to demonstrate CPR on the floor and that no reasonable adjustment is available in this instance.
Please note carefully, the following Refund and Cancellation Policy which in the case of First Aid courses is that of the Surf Life Saving Academy. An application for refund of course fees must be made in writing to Surf Life Saving NSW (Training Division) via MCC in the case of enrolments in MCC published courses. Where cancellation is made less than five (5) working days prior to the commencement of the course, 50% of the course fees will be charged. Participants who leave before finishing their course or who do not commence their course without submitting a written refund request will be charged the full course fee. The full applicable Refund Policy can be found on the Surf Life Saving NSW (Training Division) website.

Materials
Once enrolled you will also receive a Booking Confirmation from Surf Life Saving NSW.
Wear comfortable clothing as you will be kneeling down to use resuscitation manikins.
All participants must bring ID (Passport, Drivers Licence, Proof of Age Card or Birth Certificate).
