* Do you currently work in a training and assessment environment?
* Do you have current, broad knowledge, skills, experience and/or qualifications in the industry in which you want to train?
* Do you train small groups and individuals?
* Do you assess candidates against set benchmarks or standards in the workplace?
* Do you have a working knowledge of the ACSF?
* Do you design and develop assessment tools and instruments to meet the requirements of industry standards?
* Do you participate in validation of assessment tools, outcomes and assessment systems in the workplace?
* Are you familiar with the vocational education and training environment in Australia?
* Are you familiar with the Standards for RTOs 2015 and 2017?

If you have answered yes to all these questions you may be able to get recognition for your current skills, knowledge and experience.
You will need to be able to show an assessor your competency by providing proof such as samples of work completed, certified copies of relevant qualifications, certified copies of certificates, transcripts or other documents confirming your participation in relevant training programs and professional development activities, third part declarations and video recordings of you carrying out tasks relevant to the units.
In addition the assessor will need to interview you and possibly conduct a workplace visit.

Phone the College office to discuss your eligibility. The first step is to complete a self-assessment questionnaire to help you decide whether or not to proceed with RPL.
You will be able to apply for RPL for all or some units. Credit Transfer applies to already completed equivalent units. Extra fees may be incurred if gap training for unit/s is required to complete the full TAE40116 qualification.

Once you complete the self-assessment questionnaire and decide to go ahead with the RPL process, a non-refundable $100 fee will be payable when you enrol to receive the RPL kit.

On lodgement of your completed RPL application the remaining $2500 fee is payable before the final assessment is undertaken. Enrol anytime.
