TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Before you proceed to enrol, you need to check that the 12 units which we have selected, from the total 26 units in the full qualification, suit your needs. We are unable to deliver units which are not stated in the clusters, as outlined.
Our TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) qualification, meets the minimum educational requirements for trainers and assessors operating without supervision under applicable VET legislation, frameworks and/or standards. It reflects the roles of entry-level vocational education and training (VET) teachers, trainers and assessors who are delivering training services to vocational learners and assessment services to candidates.
The roles may be undertaken by those working in registered training organisations (RTOs), enterprises, community organisations, schools and other VET provision contexts.
The course duration is 18 months to complete the 12 pre-selected Units of Competency that best reflect industry and learner needs. The units are grouped into 5 clusters. Extensions to the 12-month course is available upon application.
The course is delivered in distance mode. Following enrolment, you will be emailed the learning and assessment documents, within two business days. The documents will be in Microsoft Word or PDF format. You can commence the course at any time and progress at your own pace while adhering to assessment submission schedule for each cluster. While studying you have the support of our TAE Trainer/Assessor.
Entry Requirements
Those entering this qualification must be able to demonstrate vocational competence in their proposed training and assessing area. Vocational competence is defined as broad industry knowledge and experience, and may include, but not limited to, holding a relevant unit of competency or qualification.
You must be skilled in using and developing MS Word documents and internet skills to operate and communicate via email. You must also have effective language and literacy skills to read and understand the learning and assessment materials and to develop effective resources for your learners.
Assessment tasks
You are required to complete assessment tasks in each cluster and submit to the College for marking. The assessment tasks allow you to reflect and practice in your own real workplace or if that is not possible or practical, in a replicated or simulated workplace that reflects your own vocational area.
Course fees
The fees are published on the website and in the brochure, with other course entry details and do change from time to time. In this qualification, Training and Assessment, the fees are based on the number of Units of Competency in each cluster. This number varies according to the number of Units in each Cluster.
