Week 1: Introduction & Getting Started - What is AI? Setting up accounts, basic prompting, first hands-on practice
Week 2: AI for Writing & Communication - Emails, messages, editing, tone adjustment, professional communication
Week 3: AI as Learning Companion - Research skills, fact-checking, learning new topics, critical thinking with AI
Week 4: Creativity & Content Creation - Creative writing, brainstorming, image concepts, hobby projects
Week 5: Personal Productivity & Organisation - Task management, planning, scheduling, decision-making support
Week 6: Home & Lifestyle - Meal planning, travel, home projects, health & wellness, financial planning basics
Week 7: Advanced Prompting & Problem Solving - Iterative refinement, complex workflows, troubleshooting techniques
Week 8: Course Wrap-Up & Your AI Future - Review, continuing education, ethical use, staying current, action plan
Materials
Laptop or tablet with internet connection. Free AI accounts will be set up during first session (ChatGPT and/or Claude). Notebook and pen for taking notes.
OPTIONAL after commencement of course: Upgrade to paid AI tools (approx. $20-40/month) from Week 3 onwards for enhanced features. This is optional; free versions work fine for all course content. Course materials and handouts provided digitally at no cost.

Campbelltown Performing Arts HS is on Beverley Road, off Chamberlain Street.
Car parks are in the school grounds off Beverley Road.
Co-ordinators (Vicki or Gavin) are located in the single level Administration building next to the Hall, from 7pm to 9pm.
Centre is 1.2km from railway station.
