In this workshop we will carve out an outdoor garden lantern made of aerated concrete which will house one or more tea lights. It will be a workshop where you will discover your hidden sculptural talents.
We will make this durable outdoor 30cm by 20cm lantern with a variety of chisels, large files and saw. These lanterns will look magical in your garden and your friends and family will be impressed with your artistic skills! All materials will be provided for. Bring requirements listed on Confirmation/website. Please note that the cost of materials for this course is payable to the tutor during the course, in addition to the course fee paid to the College. For more details, please refer to the “Materials“ section on the course webpage. No concession.

Materials

Bring lunch and snacks, a mug for tea and coffee and $20 (payable to tutor) for your materials.

Bring a set of chisels if you have them - tutorwill bring several sets in as well as a hammer, small saw, dust mask, old clothes (you will get dusty)
