Art - Botanical Drawing for Beginners
Come along and explore different aspects of drawing botanical flowers. This genre is a particular love of mine, it always gives me great pleasure drawing flowers (especially roses) in pencil, charcoal, conte and pastels.
We will study the shape, contour of each botanical item whilst learning the different uses of pencil, charcoal, conte in the use of constructing each piece. We will also look at different shading techniques, the importance of lighting, proportion and sizing, space, depth, ...
