If you don‘t know how to turn on a computer then this course is for you - the beginner! It will include an introduction to Windows, using a mouse, parts of the computer and an explanation of the main terms used in computing. You will learn how to create basic word processing documents and spreadsheets. On completion of this course you will have the basic skills that are prerequisites for more advanced computer courses such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel. Notes included in course fee. One person per computer - certificate issued.

It will include an introduction to Windows, using a mouse, parts of a computer and some of the ‘computer jargon‘. You will learn how to create basic word processing documents, spreadsheets and slide shows using PowerPoint. On completion of this course, you will have the basic skills that are prerequisites for more advanced courses such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel. Consecutive weeks from start date.
