This is an update for educators who hold CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025 to meet regulatory requirements. Educators must demonstrate knowledge of the indicators a child is at risk of harm, the processes to document concerns of risk and the NSW legislative requirements for responding to those concerns. The course also covers the updated code of ethics for Early Childhood Professionals and ensures educators are aware of organisational policies and practices around risk of harm.
Child safety and ensuring children‘s wellbeing is the core focus of protecting them from risk of harm.
The time allocated of one session, of two hours is nominal. There is no set time of day or date for doing this course.

***NSW Government Subsidised places available for qualifying applicants. There is also funding available for small business owners and employees if the business has less than 20 employees or a turnover of less than $2M per year. Please contact College office for more information.

You will be emailed “Child protection refresher Quiz V2.1 2023“, “Child Protection Refresher Booklet v3“ and “Department-of-Communities-and-Justice-Executive-Org-Chart.pdf“ within one business day of enrolment. You must email the completed quiz to enquiry@macarthurcc.com.au for the Tutor to mark and arrange issue of your certificate.
