Beginners Description:
Have you always wanted to learn how to dance? Amelia and Angelo will teach you how to “Rock‘n‘Roll“ dance 50‘s style. This is a Beginners course, no dance experience needed.
Fun 1950‘s style “Rock‘n‘Roll“ taught by accredited tutors and a South Pacific Dance Champion.
Suitable for all ages. Partners are preferred but not essential. Amaze yourself how easy it is with the clear, concise and fun method. So, let‘s shake, rattle, roll and have fun learning this popular dance style. Late enrolments accepted up to and including the third session of this course. No concession.
Continuing Dancers come 8:00pm
If you have completed a Beginners Course with (MCC) you can enrol.
If you have completed a Beginners “Rock‘n‘Roll“ course elsewhere you are welcomed to enrol.
Amelia can assess your current skills and knowledge level to ensure you receive the most suited to your abilities. Email the College with your dance experience details and contact details.
Continuing Description:
This is a continuation of the Beginners level - “Rock‘n‘Roll“ dancing course, known as Intermediate C Level. You will already have a good knowledge of all the basics in “Rock‘n‘Roll“ dancing having completed an 8-week course with Amelia and Angelo from Macarthur Community College, or elsewhere. All intermediate level participants are welcome. Amelia and Angelo are your tutors once again encouraging you to learn some new dance moves this term. You will learn over 10 new dance moves in this course. It‘s a great new challenge and the feeling of accomplishment that comes with achieving each new dance move is exhilarating. No concession.
Agenda
We will start off with all the basic steps and moves required before we move onto some cool dance moves. The tutor will advise as to the specific dances for each of the sessions for both groups.
Materials
Wear low, flat-heel shoes (do not wear stilettos, sand shoes or joggers) and bring a drink e.g. water.
Venue
Liverpool Girls HS is located on Forbes Street next to Liverpool Boys HS (900m from railway station).
Car park in the school grounds between the school and hospital.
Co-ordinator (Donna) is in admin foyer, from 7pm to 9pm.
