In NSW providers have a legal requirement to ensure that the nominated supervisor of a service and any certified supervisor in day-to-day charge of a service has successfully completed a course in child protection that has been approved by NSW DEC. The only approved codes are now CHCPRT001,CHCPRT025 (now available) - all previous codes have been superseded.

Enrol in this course if you require the unit CHCPRT025 Identify and report children and young people at risk.

It is completed via online learning which is accessed through the internet 24/7 in the comfort of your own home or workplace. You will manage your learning with the support of a Support tutor. You have a maximum of 3 months from time of enrolment to complete this unit.

Once you have enrolled, you will be issued with a user name and password and will complete your work online. A workplace visit will be required and is included in the course fee. A ‘No Refunds Policy‘ applies to all online learning courses once you have been issued with your user name and passwords, whether you have accessed the system or not.

If you require the unit as part of the qualification CHC30121, enrol using code OL2CPT. If you require the unit to update your skills for your workplace, enrol using the Code OLCPT25.

Nominated supervisors must have the current unit CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025 in order to be compliant with the Early Childhood Education and Care regulations. Course complies with the Start Strong Program funding guidelines. ***NSW Government Subsidised places available for qualifying applicants. There is also funding available for small business owners/employees if the business has less than 20 employees or a turnover of less than $2M/year.
