Do you need PD hours? This course provides meaningful engagement and evidence for NESA Teacher Accreditation PD hours.
This course introduces you to how effective Play-based School Readiness can be implemented.
You will develop knowledge and skills for supporting children to extend their learning through play. Play is a child‘s work. We will explore effective ways of implementing play-based school readiness that links with the National Quality Framework and facilitates collaborative planning with families.
Agenda
1. What is the importance of play?
2. How does play-based learning link with the NQF?
3. What are 5 ideas for play-based curriculum planning?
4. How can you share information with families of the service?
5. What is the name of at least one play-based theorist?
Materials
You will be emailed useful supporting documents, including a quiz to reinforce meaningful engagement in PD, within 1 business day after enrolment. You must email the completed quiz to enquiry@macarthurcc.com.au for the Tutor to mark and arrange issue of your certificate.
