Crochet - Beyond Beginners
- Having already mastered the skillsof holding a hook and yarn, and introductory stitches, this course aims to build on these skills to develop the ability to read a pattern and complete a "granny square" or some other simple piece. Methods and techniques of increasing, decreasing and joining will be taught to form a shape or object. Left-handers welcome. Bring a 4mm crochet hook or equivalent, and some yarn and a pattern or project if you desire. A kit will be available. No concession. Read on
Dressmaking
- A course for the beginner or more advanced sewer. Learn to make garments for yourself or family using a commercial pattern. Individual guidance given by the tutor will give you a professional look and fit. Includes sewing with stretch fabrics. Bring requirements listed on Confirmation/website first session. Your sewing machine will be required from Week 2. Read on
MS Word and Excel - Intermediate
- ***NSW Government Subsidised places available for qualifying applicants. There is also funding available for small business owners/employees if the business has less than 20 employees or a turnover of less than $2M/year. Please contact College office for more information.
Suitable for those who have used MS Word and MS Excel before and are familiar with the fundamentals of Excel formulas. Outline available on website. Memory stick included in course fee. Read on
